I'm a staff software engineer on the platform & architecture team at AppFolio, with 10+ years building software. I design production AI agents and the integrations connecting enterprise systems — with a focus on reliability, observability, and operating cost.
My work spans Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS: from a scheduling platform saving over $5 million annually to integrations serving 1.2 million requests a day. I lead platform initiatives and mentor engineers from early-career through senior levels. Off the clock: family, traveling, cooking, and learning something new.

YoYo: Making Platform Capacity Go Further
Problem. MuleSoft Process APIs needed a more efficient way to use licensed vCore capacity.
My approach. Designed and built a scheduling application that orchestrates Process APIs to run when needed, rather than keeping them running continuously.
Outcome. Over $5 million in annual licensing savings, with enough capacity freed to replace self-managed Runtime Fabric with CloudHub 2.0.

AI Systems That Take on Production Work
Problem. Enterprise agents need secure access to business systems, while engineering assessments involve weeks of manual research.
My approach. Designing agent-to-agent communication patterns, shipping a Jira triage agent, and establishing a secure MCP access pattern for Salesforce. Built a Claude Code plugin marketplace for vendor assessments, architecture reviews, cost justification, and design documents.
Outcome. A Jira triage agent in production and assessment workflows reduced from weeks of research to hours.

Contracts and Payments, Connected End to End
Problem. Customers needed a connected contract and payment experience across separate enterprise systems.
My approach. Built the API, authentication and token/session layers, and Lightning Web Component UI; integrated Zuora payment capture with Ironclad contract preview and e-signature.
Outcome. Delivered the customer-facing portal through production go-live and drove its security hardening.

- Stock-based compensation automation. Python pipeline transforming E*Trade equity reports into NetSuite journal entries across ~51,000 award vesting tranches over a 36-month forecast, eliminating manual quarterly close prep and extending the feed to Anaplan over AWS S3.
- Large-scale forecasting integration. MuleSoft applications migrating and transforming data between Snowflake, Workday, NetSuite, and a forecasting system to support scaling toward a $1 billion revenue target.
- Round Robin Framework. Apex framework for assigning owners to any field in Salesforce, helping Service and Sales Cloud users distribute workloads evenly.

- Lead enterprise AI and integration architecture: production agents, secure Salesforce access, and a scheduling platform saving over $5 million annually. See selected work above.
- Architected a Salesforce–Intercom integration on MuleSoft managing customer case interactions, scaled to 1.2 million requests per day.
- Built an OFAC screening pipeline covering 200,000+ bank accounts with active fraud-hit monitoring, reducing liability risk on hundreds of millions in payment transactions.
- Led the Rollbar-to-Datadog observability migration and an Apex refactor that reduced silent failures by 99%; executed a MuleSoft on-prem runtime upgrade with zero downtime.
- Ran vulnerability remediation across Python and Java services, standardized security tooling with Dependabot, CodeQL, and JFrog Artifactory, and tightened AWS IAM scoping.
