I'm a senior software engineer on the platform & architecture team at AppFolio, with nearly a decade in the Salesforce ecosystem and the systems that orbit it. My specialty is integration architecture — designing the connective tissue between CRMs, ERPs, telephony, and cloud services so data moves where it needs to, when it needs to. These days most of my work is agentic engineering: designing agent-to-agent communications for our enterprise apps and building AI agents and skills that take on real production work.
I've architected real-time pipelines on AWS Lambda and SQS, run a MuleSoft on-prem platform through a zero-downtime upgrade, wired Salesforce to billing, support, and compliance systems, and built the observability to keep it all honest. I like integrations that don't wake anyone up at 2 a.m.
Beyond the code, I lead large-scale initiatives — platform migrations, observability overhauls, architecture that pays for itself — and mentor engineers from early-career through fellow seniors as an SME across Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS.

- Designed and built a scheduling application that orchestrates MuleSoft Process APIs for efficient vCore usage — saving over $5 million a year in licensing costs and freeing enough capacity to replace self-managed Runtime Fabric with CloudHub 2.0.
- Built agentic AI skills that automate third-party vendor analysis, turning weeks of manual research into hours.
- Led the initiative to migrate the team's observability platform from Rollbar to Datadog.
- Mentored engineers from early-career through fellow seniors as a subject-matter expert across Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS.
- Architected a Salesforce–Intercom integration on MuleSoft managing customer case interactions, scaled to 1.2 million requests per day.
- Built an OFAC screening pipeline covering 200,000+ bank accounts with active fraud-hit monitoring, reducing liability risk on hundreds of millions in payment transactions.
- Led a large-scale Apex trigger and class refactor, reducing silent failures by 99% through comprehensive exception handling and object-oriented design.
- Implemented API-led connectivity best practices on MuleSoft, positioning enterprise systems to scale toward $1 billion in revenue.
